2026 Kenya International Construction Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition: East Africa Mining Exhibition Leads Industry Upgrading

From July 8th to 10th, 2026, the Kenya International Engineering Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition (MINEXPO AFRICA – KENYA) will be held grandly at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) in Nairobi.
This exhibition is hosted by EXPOGROUP WORLDWIDE, a world-renowned exhibition group, and is supported by Kenya’s Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Transport, East African Mining Association, Kenya Constructors United and other units.

This exhibition is the largest professional mining engineering integrated expo in East Africa. It is co-exhibited with the Buildexpo Kenya construction engineering exhibition at the same time, forming a dual exhibition linkage pattern of “construction infrastructure + mineral mining”.
It is the only UFI-certified professional mining exhibition in East Africa that has been officially certified by the Kenyan Ministry of Mines, the Geological Survey and the East African Community Minerals Alliance.
Relying on the advantages of Kenya as an East African transportation hub, the exhibition radiates to more than 20 East and Central African countries such as Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Congo (DRC), and South Sudan. It is the core business portal for global equipment manufacturers to explore the African mineral market and connect open-pit mines, gold mines, lithium mines, and sand and gravel aggregate projects.

Kenya is rich in gold, rare earth, titanium ore, and limestone resources. In the next five years, the total investment in regional minerals and supporting infrastructure will exceed US$42 billion, and hundreds of key projects will be implemented.
The special local environment has strict requirements on equipment performance. However, there is almost no local mining equipment manufacturing in East Africa. A large number of old and highly polluting equipment are being upgraded intensively, and market demand continues to explode.

The 2026 MINEXPO AFRICA exhibition has a total indoor and outdoor exhibition area of 33,000 square meters, bringing together more than 430 exhibiting companies from 34 countries. China, India, Turkey, Germany, and South Africa are the five main international exhibition groups. Chinese exhibitors account for 43% of the total international exhibitions.
The exhibition is expected to receive 23,000 certified professional visitors. The total intended transaction volume of the last exhibition exceeded 950 million US dollars, and orders for Chinese customized mining equipment adapted to the working conditions of the East African plateau accounted for nearly 50%.

The exhibition builds a complete matrix of exhibits around mineral exploration, open-pit mining, mineral processing, and mining supporting engineering machinery. It is divided into four professional exhibition areas. All equipment is specially optimized for plateau low-pressure, high-temperature sand and dust, and red mud mud environments, covering the entire industry chain equipment.

The exhibition also created diversified concurrent supporting activities, including the opening high-level summit of East African mineral development leaders, vertical segmentation professional technology forum, one-on-one B2B precise business matching session, outdoor mining equipment practical demonstration and East African cross-border business salon, etc., to comprehensively improve order conversion efficiency.

MINEXPO AFRICA – KENYA brings together high-quality industrial resources at four levels: global manufacturing, East African mining enterprise procurement, government and enterprise finance, and technical services, becoming an irreplaceable mining industry intersection platform in East Africa.

As an authoritative technology benchmark for the mining equipment industry in East Africa, the exhibition focuses on technological innovation, accelerating the large-scale implementation of intelligent unmanned mining technology in East Africa, promoting the popularization of green and low-carbon mining equipment, improving environmental protection access standards in East Africa, and promoting the iteration of customized technology for exclusive mining equipment on the East African plateau.

In short, MINEXPO AFRICA – KENYA has become the core bridge connecting the global mining engineering machinery manufacturing industry and the 40 billion mineral development market in East Africa. It is an irreplaceable benchmark professional mining exhibition that lays out the entire East and Central African mining markets.
