Analysis of INVT’s Q3 2025 Financial Report: Mixed Results, but Future Growth Promises

This article provides an in-depth analysis of INVT’s Q3 2025 report, noting that while the company faces fundamental pressure, it is well-positioned in several high-growth sectors, suggesting promising growth for the full-year results; it also highlights the need to remain vigilant regarding risks related to profitability and the collection of receivables.

Invt (002334)’s Q3 2025 report presents a complex picture, with both fundamental pressures and opportunities arising from thematic concepts.

In terms of overall performance, the company’s total operating revenue for the period was 3.108 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.12%, with a slight decline in revenue scale; net profit attributable to the parent company was 148 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.26%, with a larger decrease in net profit attributable to the parent company excluding non-recurring items, indicating significant pressure on profitability. In terms of single quarter, Q3 revenue was 1.069 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.76%, achieving a sequential recovery, but the profitability was poor, with both net profit attributable to the parent company and net profit attributable to the parent company excluding non-recurring items declining significantly, dragging down the overall performance of the first three quarters.

In terms of profitability, the gross profit margin for the first three quarters reached 31.91%, an increase of 4.59 percentage points year-on-year, and the net profit margin was 4.39%, an increase of 17.52% year-on-year, indicating that product structure optimization or cost control has been effective. However, the pressure on the expense side has increased. Sales, management, and financial expenses totaled 506 million yuan, accounting for 16.28% of revenue, an increase of 11.81 percentage points year-on-year, eroding some profits and resulting in a year-on-year decline in net profit. Earnings per share were 0.18 yuan, a decrease of 3.42% year-on-year, basically matching the decline in net profit. Regarding assets and cash flow, as of the end of the third quarter, cash and cash equivalents were 1.12 billion yuan, an increase of 12.82% year-on-year, indicating relatively sufficient liquidity reserves. However, accounts receivable reached 1.066 billion yuan, an increase of 4.74% year-on-year, accounting for a high 372.03% of the latest annual report’s net profit attributable to the parent company, raising concerns about collection risks. Interest-bearing liabilities were 1.011 billion yuan, a significant increase of 50.96% year-on-year, with long-term borrowings nearly doubling, and the expansion of debt exacerbating financial pressure. In terms of cash flow, net cash flow from operating activities increased by 34.87% year-on-year, showing strong performance; net cash flow from investing activities decreased by 683.49% year-on-year due to increased capital expenditures; net cash flow from financing activities increased by 305.6% year-on-year, stemming from increased new borrowings, while the overall net increase in cash and cash equivalents decreased by 526.15% year-on-year. The main business segments showed significant divergence. Industrial automation achieved revenue of RMB 1.999 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.31%, accounting for 64.32% of total revenue, becoming the cornerstone of performance; new energy vehicle revenue was RMB 459 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.19%, maintaining steady growth; network energy revenue was RMB 519 million, a year-on-year decrease of 9.13%; photovoltaic energy storage performed the weakest, with revenue of RMB 130 million, a year-on-year decrease of 25.95%, becoming the main drag on overall performance. In addition, fixed assets increased by 41.07% year-on-year, and the production capacity layout continued to improve.

Invt relies on its dual-engine strategy of “industrial automation + energy power” and has deployed multiple high-growth themes. In the liquid cooling concept, it has core patents for magnetic levitation fluorine pump multi-unit cooling technology, and its liquid cooling technology adopts a differentiated layout. The cold plate type is already in mature mass production, and the immersion liquid cooling solution aims for commercial mass production in 2026. In the energy storage + photovoltaic concept, the energy storage business covers the entire power range of PCS, and the global layout is expected to be effective. Although the revenue of the photovoltaic energy storage business declined in the first three quarters, it is expected to usher in a recovery inflection point. In the industrial automation + new energy vehicle concept, the fundamentals are solid and there are breakthroughs in subdivided fields. In addition, the company is also involved in multiple themes, and the diversified layout enriches the growth logic.

However, the company also faces many risks. Regarding the risk of profit pressure, if the recovery of core business falls short of expectations, full-year performance may decline further; accounts receivable collection risk deserves close attention, as problems with downstream customers may affect cash flow stability; the risk of decline in some business segments, such as photovoltaic energy storage and grid energy businesses, will drag down overall performance if market demand remains weak or competition intensifies; debt and financial risks, with increased debt expansion and investment expenditure exacerbating financial pressure; industry competition risks, with fierce competition in various fields, the company needs to enhance its core competitiveness to avoid market share loss. Performance forecasts show that Invt is expected to achieve revenue of RMB 4.208 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 2.50%; net profit attributable to the parent company of RMB 210 million, a year-on-year increase of 38.16%; and net profit attributable to the parent company excluding non-recurring items of RMB 185 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.20%, showing a recovery trend of “low at the beginning and high at the end”. In the long term, with the commercialization of liquid cooling business, the landing of overseas energy storage orders and capacity release, the company is expected to usher in a performance inflection point. The current valuation is lower than the industry average, providing a certain safety margin, but in the short term, attention needs to be paid to the business recovery and cost control effectiveness in the fourth quarter.
