During the period from 2021 to 2025, my country’s comprehensive mechanization rate of crop farming and harvesting will show an increasing trend.

From the perspective of output, my country’s agricultural machinery production will show a trend of differentiation in 2025.
Among them, the output of small tractors dropped significantly, to 120,500 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15.4%; the output of medium-sized tractors also declined, to 228,900 units, a year-on-year decrease of 6%; while large tractors bucked the trend and rose, with output reaching 115,300 units, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%.
This differentiation may be related to the large-scale development of agricultural production. Large tractors are more suitable for large-scale farm operations, while the market demand for small and medium-sized tractors may be relatively reduced.
In terms of import and export amounts, from 2021 to 2025, the amount of imports of agricultural machinery in my country will first increase and then decrease.
In 2025, my country’s agricultural machinery imports will amount to 3.732 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 24.5%.
This may be due to the continuous improvement of domestic agricultural machinery manufacturing technology and the reduced dependence on imported machinery.
From 2021 to 2025, the amount of my country’s agricultural machinery exports will first rise, then fall and then rise again.
In 2025, my country’s agricultural machinery exports will be 64.719 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.3%. This shows that the competitiveness of my country’s agricultural machinery in the international market continues to increase and is increasingly recognized by foreign markets.
