Anqing’s cross-border e-commerce sector has seen rapid growth in recent years; moving forward, the city aims to drive high-quality development and help local enterprises expand into overseas markets.

On January 28, the 4th Anqing Cross-border E-commerce Summit and the first Anqing “E-commerce Lecture Hall” were successfully held.
With the theme of “Business-friendly Cross-border · Goods Connecting the World”, this summit attracted nearly 260 domestic industry experts and business representatives. They gathered together to discuss new opportunities and high-quality development paths for cross-border e-commerce development.

In recent years, the development of cross-border e-commerce in Anqing has shown rapid momentum and has become an important engine driving the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade.
Anqing relies on the advantages of being an approved national cross-border e-commerce retail import pilot city and cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone to actively promote the in-depth integration of cross-border e-commerce with local brush industry, down, auto parts, new paper and plastics and other characteristic industries.
In 2025, the city’s cross-border e-commerce transaction volume will exceed 4.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of more than 15%.
Since 2021, the transaction volume has increased year by year from 1.1 billion yuan, and the number of operating entities has also increased from more than 60 to more than 300.

Remarkable results have been achieved in industrial development.
Among them, Qianshan Yuantan Brush Industry Cross-border Park has incubated 42 companies, with annual transaction volume exceeding US$80 million; Jiaxin Medical, Tuna Network Technology and other companies have been rated as provincial-level cross-border e-commerce strong enterprises.
Through the “cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt” model, traditional industries are leveraging international platforms to achieve digital and global development.
This not only enhances the competitiveness of traditional industries, but also injects new vitality into the economic development of Anqing City.

Based on the new stage, Anqing City will systematically promote the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.
In terms of model innovation and business integration, new paths such as “cross-border live broadcast + leading platform” and “cross-border e-commerce + overseas warehouse” will be explored.
Cross-border live broadcasts can more intuitively display the features and advantages of products to overseas consumers, while overseas warehouses can improve logistics and distribution efficiency and enhance customer experience.

At the same time, Anqing City will strengthen industrial linkage and subject cultivation, relying on the “park + industrial cluster + leading enterprise” model to build a characteristic industrial belt.
Through the construction of industrial belts, resources can be shared, advantages can be complemented, and the overall competitiveness of the industry can be improved.
In addition, the coordination mechanism will be improved to gather the joint efforts of government and enterprises to optimize the service ecology.
The government will provide more complete policy support and service guarantees, while enterprises will give full play to their role as market entities and jointly inject new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade.

In the future, Anqing City will continue to work hard to help more local companies go overseas, bring Anqing’s specialty products to the world, and further enhance Anqing City’s influence in the international market.
I believe that with the promotion of cross-border e-commerce, Anqing’s economy will usher in a better tomorrow.
