Fengbo International’s annual cross-border event helps e-commerce scale growth

On January 26, FundPark hosted its inaugural "FundPark Day" summit in Shekou, Shenzhen. Attended by over 500 industry professionals and representatives from global platforms, the event focused on the topic of "scalable growth" in cross-border e-commerce and marked a strategic upgrade for the company.

On January 26, FundPark, a technology company headquartered in Hong Kong, held the first ‘FundPark Day’ flagship summit gathering the entire industry ecosystem in Shekou, Shenzhen.
This event attracted more than 500 brand sellers, e-commerce entrepreneurs, service providers, as well as representatives from global platforms such as Amazon, Google, Shopify, TikTok, Walmart, JD.com, Xiaohongshu, Dewu, etc. to witness the construction of a new ecosystem and new trends in the cross-border e-commerce industry, and to discuss the topic of greatest concern to cross-border sellers in 2026 – how to achieve ‘scaled growth’.

Sun Huilai, co-founder and CEO of Fengbo International, said: ‘In this era of rapid change, large-scale expansion has become a systemic challenge that no entrepreneur can handle alone.
Through ‘FundPark Day’, we will implement the ‘Scale Up as a Service’ blueprint, integrate strategy and industry insights, deeply connect ecological partners, achieve true synergy, and help entrepreneurs succeed in the next wave of cross-border e-commerce.
’

This summit, with the theme of “Grow in the right way, gather momentum together”, aims to build a high-level platform for in-depth dialogue and resource aggregation. Together with industry leaders and brand sellers, it will bring entrepreneurs a systematic growth framework and the most cutting-edge practical insights in the industry, helping them move to the next stage of growth.

The reporter learned from the summit that the global e-commerce retail scale will exceed US$6 trillion in 2025, and is expected to reach the 10 trillion mark in 2028.
While the cross-border e-commerce industry continues to develop at a rapid pace, it is also undergoing a new round of ‘shuffle’.
Market iteration is accelerating and pushing up operating thresholds, and the rapid evolution of innovative technologies such as AI is comprehensively reshaping global trade patterns and industrial patterns.
For cross-border small and medium-sized enterprises, shifting from opportunistic growth to systematic ‘large-scale growth’ has become the core capability to overcome the cycle and win the next ‘golden decade’ of cross-border business.

Liu Run, founder of Runmi Consulting and strategic consulting consultant, pointed out that Chinese companies going global are experiencing a key transition from ‘Made in China’ to ‘Made in China Intelligently’.
From exporting ‘Chinese production’ to exporting ‘Chinese wisdom’, companies need to formulate sustainable strategies, build long-term competitiveness, and realize the transformation from selling products to brand-rooted operations in the target consumer market.

Sister Olga, a top blogger with over 35 years of experience as a foreign company executive and over 2 million fans, led this overseas ecological roundtable, emphasizing that growth in the new era must achieve the four-in-one coordinated advancement of ‘brand, traffic, platform, and capital’, and completely bid farewell to the ‘blind box’ style of early e-commerce that relied on luck.

Chen Shuo, founder of KidZanie Technology, shared the successful experience of DTC brand breakthrough, including how to shift from ‘selling goods thinking’ to ‘brand thinking’, how to build a differentiated overseas brand with users as the center, how to refine operations and improve efficiency with AI.

Protect Wellness brand representative Zeng Shuihua shared the key steps for imported niche brands to enter the Chinese market, including how to find niche market segments and establish unique brand positioning, and how to adjust strategies to adapt to Chinese consumer habits.

For the first time, Fengbo International has established the ‘Growth Star’ award to commend entrepreneurs who have demonstrated outstanding resilience, released growth momentum and achieved large-scale growth in the cross-border track.

Sun Huilai said that this ‘FundPark Day’ was held to connect key players upstream and downstream of the entire trade chain, and to conduct in-depth discussions on how to create a sustainable growth engine for the world through AI, data, finance and ecological collaboration.
At the same time, the holding of the event also marked the completion of a key strategic upgrade by Fengbo: evolving from a service provider that provides single financial support to enterprises to a multi-dimensional strategic growth partner.

So far, Fengbo International has received more than US$750 million in financial support from global institutions such as Goldman Sachs and HSBC, served more than 33,000 merchants, and pushed its customers’ cumulative gross merchandise volume (GMV) to more than US$14.7 billion.
