Linglong tires in Europe have received Ford Q1 certification, helping them advance in the global high-end original equipment market.

Linglong Europe recently held a ceremony marking its receipt of Ford’s Q1 certification, signifying a further step forward for the company in the global high-end original equipment market. Given Ford’s rigorous Q1 certification standards, this achievement demonstrates that Linglong Europe meets the automaker's highest global benchmarks, paving the way for potential future collaboration.

In 2026, exciting news came from the tire industry. Recently, Linglong International (Europe) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Linglong Europe”) ushered in a milestone moment – the Ford Q1 certification ceremony was successfully held. Representatives from Ford Motor Company and Yang Kefeng, General Manager of Linglong Europe, attended this important ceremony, marking another solid step forward for Linglong in the global high-end OEM market. Ford Q1 certification, considered the “gold standard” of its supplier system, is renowned in the industry for its stringent requirements. This certification covers five dimensions, including quality systems, continuous performance, and on-site improvement, and is a key qualification for entering Ford’s global supply chain. This certification fully demonstrates that Linglong Europe has reached Ford’s highest global standards in product quality, production management, and service levels, officially becoming a core OEM partner in the European market. This marks another significant breakthrough for Linglong’s global OEM system, following its acquisition of Ford Q1 certification in Thailand in 2021. It powerfully demonstrates its outstanding quality control capabilities under the “7+5” global strategic layout. As China’s first tire production base in Europe, Linglong Europe has set an industry benchmark with its automated and digitalized production system since commencing production in 2024. It has successfully passed factory audits by major automakers such as Nissan, Volkswagen, and Audi. Currently, the factory employs over 2,300 people, with over 70% being local Serbian staff. Furthermore, through the “Three-Dimensional Culture Integration Plan,” it has achieved efficient cross-cultural management, laying a solid foundation for the company’s stable development. This deepened cooperation with Ford will further unleash the production capacity potential of Linglong Europe. Its production line, capable of producing 12 million sets of semi-steel radial tires annually, can respond swiftly to European market demands, helping Ford optimize its regional supply chain layout. Linglong’s forward-looking localized production and high-standard quality system will work with Ford to build a stable and reliable supply chain ecosystem, providing a solid practical example for enhancing the resilience of the global industrial chain. A Ford representative stated that the addition of Linglong Europe significantly enhances the competitiveness of Ford’s supply chain. As the European Linglong plant continues to ramp up production, the two parties are expected to expand cooperation in cutting-edge fields such as new energy vehicle tires, jointly writing a new chapter in the collaborative development of Chinese and international automakers. This is not only significant for Linglong Tire’s global development but also wins more say and development opportunities for the Chinese tire industry in the international market. It is believed that in the future, Linglong Tire will continue to shine even brighter in the global high-end OEM market thanks to its superior quality and innovation capabilities.
