On July 14, 2025, Sailun Tire (601058.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sailun (Shenyang) Tire Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sailun Shenyang”) plans to purchase 100% of the equity of Bridgestone (Shenyang) Tire Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bridgestone Shenyang”) held by Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bridgestone China”) at a price of 265 million yuan.
The company’s board of directors reviewed and approved the transaction on July 14. On the same day, Sailun Shenyang and Bridgestone China signed the Equity Transfer Agreement.

Bridgestone Shenyang was established in March 1996 with a registered capital of US$183 million.
Its business scope is wide-ranging, covering the production, sales, after-sales service, warehousing and storage (excluding hazardous chemicals) of automobile tires and related products (except bias tires and low-performance industrial rubber accessories) and the leasing of its own houses, as well as corporate management consulting services.
Originally, Bridgestone Shenyang had an annual production capacity of 1.7 million load-carrying radial tires, but it is currently in a state of suspension.
It has land use rights covering an area of 394,900 square meters and building/structure property rights covering an area of 200,700 square meters.
From the perspective of financial data, Bridgestone Shenyang’s audited operating income in 2024 was 141 million yuan, but its net profit loss was 480 million yuan; 2025 January –
The unaudited operating income in June was 943,200 yuan, and the net profit loss was 564 million yuan; as of June 30, 2025, the total unaudited assets were 360 million yuan, the total liabilities were 23 million yuan, and the owners’ equity was 337 million yuan.
It is reported that the large losses in the first half of 2025 were caused by the company’s accounting treatment after transferring monetary funds into the Bridgestone investment capital pool account.

The counterparty, Bridgestone China, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bridgestone Co., Ltd. in China, and Bridgestone is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world.
Bridgestone Shenyang, the target of this transaction, is the first tire factory established by Bridgestone to officially enter the Chinese market.
Looking at Sailun Tire, according to the investor relations activity record on June 30, as of now, Sailun Tire has planned an annual production capacity of 27.65 million all-steel radial tires, 106 million semi-steel radial tires and 447,000 tons of off-highway tires. Currently, production and operations are normal and the capacity utilization rate of each factory is at a high level.
Sailun Tire said that after the acquisition is completed, the company will adjust the management of Bridgestone Shenyang, make full use of the company’s existing land, factories and equipment and other assets, and determine specific construction projects in conjunction with the company’s development strategy.
This move will help the company quickly increase its production capacity, better meet domestic and foreign market demand, and further enhance the company’s competitiveness.
As competition in the global tire market becomes increasingly fierce, Sailun Tire’s acquisition is expected to bring new development opportunities and occupy a more favorable position in domestic and foreign markets.
