With the official launch of the “Smart Blessings, Smart Life” Smart Home Renewal Season event in Fujian Province, the scope of trade-in subsidies for Xiamen citizens has been expanded again.
A subsidy campaign for new purchases of smart home products will be launched from now on, and five categories of smart home products will be included in the trade-in subsidy scope in 2026. The subsidy for a single item shall not exceed 2,000 yuan.

It is reported that this subsidy covers five categories of products: smart toilets (including smart toilet seats), smart fitness equipment (treadmills, elliptical machines), smart massage chairs, smart cleaning robots (smart sweepers, floor washers, window cleaning robots), and ventilators. All products must have national standard 13-digit product barcodes, comply with relevant quality and safety standards, energy efficiency and water efficiency standards, and have complete product qualification certificates.
For individual consumers purchasing products in Categories 1 to 4, the subsidy standard is 15% of the final sales price after deducting discounts in various links. Each person can subsidize 1 product of each category, and the subsidy for each product shall not exceed 1,500 yuan.
For the purchase of Category 5 products (ventilators), the subsidy standard is 20% of the final sales price after deducting discounts in various links. Each person can be subsidized for one product of each category, and the subsidy for each product shall not exceed 2,000 yuan.
Consumers enter the “Trade-in” section on the homepage of the UnionPay App, and enter the “Offline Activity Area” or “Online Activity Area” as needed to receive subsidy coupons. The real-name authentication name, ID number, and mobile phone number must be the same person.
After placing the order, the subsidy amount will be directly deducted according to the subsidy standard during the payment process, without the need for subsequent reimbursement.
The name of the subsidy claimant, payer, consignee and consumer on the invoice header must be consistent.
Each consumer can only receive 1 subsidy coupon for each type of subsidized product, and each subsidy coupon can only be written off for 1 subsidized product. Each subsidized product must correspond to an independent order, and splitting orders and combined purchases are strictly prohibited; the delivery address of each order must be in Fujian Province.

Since this year, Fujian Province has solidly promoted the deployment of national consumer goods trade-in work, and continued to make efforts in automobiles, home appliances, 3C digital and other fields, and the policy effects have been accelerated.
As of now, there are more than 14,000 participating merchants in the province, and the cumulative write-off subsidy funds have exceeded 2.5 billion yuan, benefiting more than 2.63 million consumers, and driving sales of more than 25.6 billion yuan.
The launch of this new smart home product purchase subsidy activity is undoubtedly another important measure taken by Fujian Province to promote consumption upgrading and promote the development of the smart home industry.
This will not only allow consumers to enjoy high-quality smart home products at more affordable prices and improve the quality of life, but also further stimulate market demand and promote the prosperity and development of the smart home industry.
For smart home companies, it is also a good opportunity to expand the market and enhance brand awareness.
It is believed that driven by policies, the smart home market in Fujian Province will usher in broader development prospects and bring more choices and convenience to consumers.
