Recently, public information from the State Intellectual Property Office shows that the invention patent filed by Guizhou Tire Co., Ltd. for “a mobile molding drum tail frame support device” has been officially announced. This patent belongs to the field of tire manufacturing technology and will significantly improve the level of automated operation of the tire molding process.
According to patent disclosure information, the device is mainly composed of a fixed base, a movable tailstock base, a horizontal drive component, a lifting support component, and an automatic control and protection system: the fixed base is installed at the tail end of the forming drum of the forming machine, and the horizontal drive component can drive the movable tailstock base to move horizontally and reciprocally along the axis of the forming drum. The lifting support component can complete the support and fall-back avoidance actions at the tail end of the forming drum.
The entire process is coordinated and coordinated by an automatic control system, which can realize fully closed-loop operation of avoidance, hoisting, supporting, forming, and resetting without manual intervention. It solves the long-term industry pain point of tire shell collision with tailstock from the root, and production efficiency and product yield will be significantly improved.

As one of the core enterprises in the domestic tire industry, Guizhou Tire has entered the capital market in 1996 and has a full industrial chain layout of tire R&D, production and sales. Its products cover multiple application scenarios such as civil transportation, engineering operations, agricultural production, and rail transit.
In 2025, Guizhou Tire’s operating revenue will reach 10.946 billion yuan, ranking 6th among the 22 leading domestic tire companies, with a net profit of 623 million yuan. Its operating performance is in the first echelon of the industry. The tire sales business accounts for 99.3% of the total revenue, and its core business focus leads the industry.

In addition to the patents related to the building drum disclosed this time, Guizhou Tire has continued to increase investment in research and development in recent years, and the implementation of technological achievements has continued to accelerate.
Since 2025 alone, the company has disclosed a total of more than 50 invention patents in various fields, covering intelligent production systems, new tire material research and development, production energy-saving transformation, intelligent quality inspection, special tire structural design and other dimensions: including product performance optimization technologies for all-steel radial tires, agricultural tires, engineering tires, and rail transit tires, as well as process upgrade plans to reduce production energy consumption and improve production automation levels. There are also a number of material modification patents that can further improve core properties such as tire wear resistance, impact resistance, and low rolling resistance.
With the continuous implementation of technology research and development results, the global competitiveness of Guizhou Tire’s products is constantly increasing. Currently, its products have been exported to many countries and regions around the world, adapting to the climate, road conditions and usage scenarios of different markets. With the gradual mass production application of new patents, the company’s production capacity and product quality will be further improved, and it can provide global customers with a full range of more cost-effective and higher-quality tire products.
