On April 2, the 10th Shaodong Hardware and Electrical and Mechanical Expo opened grandly in Shaodong.
This industry event, which has been accumulated for nine years, has the theme of “Traditional Quenching Fire, Hardware Starts Again” and lasts for three days. It has attracted more than 1,280 domestic and foreign companies to gather together to showcase the innovative achievements and development trends of the hardware and electrical industry, further polish the golden sign of “Shaodong Hardware”, and promote high-quality development of the industry.
As a nationally renowned “hometown of hundreds of industries”, the 10th Hardware and Electrical and Mechanical Expo created by Shaodong has achieved a new breakthrough in scale and has been significantly upgraded compared to previous editions.
The total exhibition area of this expo reaches 50,000 square meters, far exceeding the 36,000 square meters of the ninth expo. The booth layout is more reasonable and the functional zoning is more precise.
On the basis of retaining the core exhibition areas such as traditional hardware tools and mechanical equipment, three new special exhibition areas have been added to build a full-chain and diversified display layout to fully meet the procurement and communication needs of different merchants.
The three newly added special exhibition areas are full of highlights and have become a highlight of this expo.
Among them, the Guangdong Power Tools Museum brings together the leading brands of power tools in the Pearl River Delta region, effectively filling the gap in the centralized display of high-end power tools in the region and bringing high-efficiency, intelligent new power tools to the industry; the water pump valve area focuses on the field of fluid control, focusing on displaying civilian products.
It is committed to providing one-stop solutions for engineering procurement with pumps, valves and ancillary equipment for use and industry; the Import and Export Commodity Hall builds a new cross-border trade platform to help Shaodong Hardware expand overseas markets, attract precise docking with global merchants, and further promote the internationalization process of Shaodong Hardware.
The exhibition site was crowded and the atmosphere was warm. Buyers, dealers, and industry practitioners from all over the country and even the world shuttled between the exhibition areas to carefully inspect products, discuss cooperation, and exchange experiences.
Exhibitors showcased their core products one after another, covering all categories of hand tools, power tools, electromechanical equipment, etc., including the “top” products of local hardware companies such as Xianchaqiao Town, as well as the innovative achievements of well-known foreign companies, which comprehensively demonstrated the solid foundation of Shaodong’s hardware industry and the cutting-edge trends of industry development.
It is reported that Shaodong City has cultivated more than 3,500 hardware tool production and operating enterprises, including more than 80 enterprises above designated size, with more than 1,600 registered hardware trademarks, more than 50,000 employees, and an annual production capacity of more than 300 million wrenches, pliers, and hammers. Among them, wrench production accounts for more than 70% of the national market share, and the products are exported to more than 160 countries and regions.
After nine years of development, Shaodong Hardware and Electrical and Mechanical Expo has grown from a regional exhibition to a national hardware and electrical and mechanical industry event, becoming an important platform to showcase the strength of “Shaodong Manufacturing” and promote industrial transformation and upgrading.
