A few days ago, the four-day 27th ITES Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition and High-end Equipment Industry Cluster Exhibition officially opened at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Baoan).
The exhibition covers an area of 160,000 square meters and brings together more than 1,800 domestic and overseas equipment technology brands and manufacturers, covering emerging tracks such as high-end equipment, precision manufacturing, embodied intelligence, medical equipment, electronic intelligent manufacturing, and new energy vehicles.
As the only provincial wholly-owned state-owned enterprise in Guangdong Province that develops and manufactures CNC machine tools, the Provincial Machinery Institute brought its fist machine tool matrix and more than 600 other top domestic and foreign brands to the high-end equipment exhibition.
This time, five-axis machining centers, ultra-precision CNC machine tools, electric machining and other processing equipment were displayed to jointly promote the accelerated upgrading of the machine tool industry to high-end, precision and intelligence.
Machine tools are the basic equipment for metal processing and precision manufacturing. Each of their technological breakthroughs has marked China’s transformation from a large manufacturing country to a powerful manufacturing country.
Since its establishment in 1960, the Provincial Machinery Institute has been engaged in the research, promotion and application of advanced manufacturing technology.
In 1986, the Provincial Machinery Research Institute took the lead in building the first provincial key laboratory in Guangdong Province – the “Guangdong Mold CAD Center”, creating a history of building provincial key laboratories in Guangdong Province.
In 2020, the Provincial Machinery Institute bravely selected state-owned enterprises to take on the mission and began to enter the field of CNC machine tools.
By 2025, the Provincial Machinery Research Institute will achieve new breakthroughs in the production and sales of CNC machine tools, establish a sales network and complete product strategic layout.
At present, the Provincial Machinery Institute has a variety of core machine tool products such as linear motor five-axis machining centers, high-speed graphite machining centers, high-speed linear motor machining centers, gantry machining centers, and horizontal machining centers.
With the deep integration of new generation information technology and advanced manufacturing technology, robots with high adaptability and precise operation capabilities are becoming an important force in promoting new industrialization.
At the booth of the Provincial Machinery Institute, a product “FL400 linear motor five-axis processing machine tool” attracted the attention of many customers.
A piece of aluminum alloy blank material about 20 centimeters long and 10 centimeters thick, after a series of precise operations on the machine tool, is transformed into multiple delicate humanoid robot hand joint components.
The person in charge of the booth introduced that at this industrial exhibition, the Provincial Machinery Institute will showcase machine tool products with cutting-edge high-end technologies, which can provide technical support for parts manufacturing for industries such as embodied robots, new energy vehicles, and low-altitude aircraft.
Through efficient linkage and precise control between equipment, it is ensured that the components produced are more precise.
The person in charge of the booth also said that participating in the exhibition will not only help link resources, but also help them accurately understand the development trends of strategic emerging industries such as high-end equipment and intelligent robots.
