A few days ago, the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics released economic operation data from January to February 2026. The province’s core indicators of industry and foreign trade improved simultaneously, achieving a smooth start.

Specifically, the industrial sector has rebounded significantly.
From January to February, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 9.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 2.9 percentage points faster than last year.
Among the 37 major industrial sectors, 32 industries saw positive growth in added value.
The foreign trade field continued to show steady growth. During the same period, the total import and export of goods was 989 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%, of which exports were 768.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.4%, and the growth rate was higher than the national average.
This good start is inseparable from precise policy support.
Since 2026, Zhejiang Province has promoted the implementation of relevant measures around the “8 + 4” economic policy system, continued to cultivate “415X” advanced manufacturing clusters in the field of advanced manufacturing, promoted industrial technology transformation and equipment updating, and provided policy support for enterprises to release production capacity and product upgrades.
Bo Wenxi, chairman of Zhonghe Kunlun (Beijing) Asset Management Co., Ltd., said that the “8 + 4” policy system has shown a supporting effect, and the next stage of policy optimization needs to shift from “inclusive blood transfusion” to “precision blood production.”
Such as strengthening collaborative innovation and joint research in the industrial chain, expanding the coverage of export credit insurance, optimizing the adaptability of customs clearance, taxation and other supervision of new business formats, establishing an agile policy response mechanism, promoting the upgrade of green trade, and coping with new international trade barriers.
At the corporate level, the operating rhythm of many Zhejiang listed manufacturing companies is in line with the industry recovery trend.
Ningbo Junpu Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. focuses on the field of intelligent manufacturing equipment and has continued to promote the delivery of new energy vehicles and high-end manufacturing production line projects since 2026.
In February this year, the company reached a major technical cooperation with KUKA. Its Granbach base in Austria completed the commercial integration of KUKA’s flagship heavy-duty robot KR TITAN Ultra and successfully implemented the product into the production line of automobile customers, further strengthening its technical advantages and global competitiveness in the high-end manufacturing field of new energy vehicles.
Relying on its original mature R&D system and transmission drive R&D team, Shuanglin Co., Ltd. has successfully established a special R&D team for robot modules, realizing a closed loop of the entire industrial chain from ball/roller screws to robot linear joint modules, and building core technology barriers.
The company’s investor research information shows that it currently has a production capacity of 100,000 sets of roller screws, and has laid out a stepped expansion plan for 1 million sets to provide a stable supply of basic components for the robot business; the robot module trial production line can meet the annual production demand of 120,000 sets, and its mass production line is in the planning and advancement stage.

With the support of a steady rebound in industry, Zhejiang’s foreign trade companies have also accelerated their globalization layout, and their export momentum has continued to increase.
As Zhejiang’s leading foreign trade listed company, Zhejiang China Commodity City Group Co., Ltd. focuses on the core business of cross-border trade and market procurement, relying on the advantages of Yiwu’s small commodity market to build Chinagoods cross-border e-commerce comprehensive service platform, integrating customs declaration, logistics, foreign exchange settlement and other full-link services.
Its Yi payment platform has covered more than 160 countries and regions.
In order to further expand overseas markets, on January 9, the company officially signed a strategic investment agreement with Egatee, an African B2B e-commerce platform, to deepen the Sino-African trade field with digital layout and open up a new track for the “Yiwu China Commodity City” brand to go overseas in Africa.
Zhejiang Leapao Technology Co., Ltd. actively expands overseas markets and has achieved outstanding results in foreign trade.
According to official website data, the export volume in 2025 will reach 67,052 units, ranking first among China’s new power brands. As of the end of February 2026, the cumulative exports have exceeded 100,000 units. As of the end of 2025, the company has established approximately 900 sales and after-sales service outlets in about 40 markets around the world, including more than 800 in Europe.
In 2026, the company will promote the Spanish CKD project, and the supporting battery factory plans to trial production in April this year and mass production in July to help foreign trade exports.
At the same time, periodic pressures in economic operations still exist.
From January to February, the industrial producer price (PPI) in Zhejiang Province fell by 1.5% year-on-year, and the purchasing price of industrial producers fell by 1.4% year-on-year. Industrial product prices were in a downward range.
Gao Chengyuan, chairman and CEO of Transcendence Consulting, said: “The current PPI continues to decline, squeezing corporate profit margins, and we need to be wary of the risk that ‘increasing production without increasing profits’ will further evolve into ‘increasing production but causing losses.'” He also said that in the future, we need to pay attention to issues such as the relocation of the industrial chain and policy dependence. He suggested establishing a “price-inventory-order” linkage monitoring mechanism, implementing differentiated solutions, promoting the diversification of the export market, and supporting the sustained and healthy development of Zhejiang’s industry and foreign trade.
