On June 25, the Henan branch event of the theme day “2026 Inclusive Financial Services Season” was held in Zhengzhou. This event was hosted by the Henan branch of the multi-departmental guidance and policy-based export credit insurance institution.
The three special actions of “Insurance Benefiting Enterprises”, “Services to Promote Enterprises” and “Digital Intelligence Assisting Enterprises” will support foreign trade small, medium and micro enterprises to strengthen their confidence, secure orders, expand markets, and facilitate financing by improving the financial security service system, promote the stable scale and optimized structure of the province’s foreign trade, and help achieve a good start in the construction of a strong economic and trade province during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period.
Representatives from relevant government departments, foreign-related service agencies, 50 foreign trade companies and 15 banking institutions across the province attended the event.
Relevant department heads revealed at the event that in recent years, Henan has thoroughly implemented decisions and arrangements related to stabilizing foreign trade, and has continued to promote stable scale and optimized structure of foreign trade and achieved positive results. In the first five months of this year, the province’s import and export scale of goods trade continued to set historical records. The total import and export volume has exceeded the level of the same period in the first half of last year, ranking tenth in the country in scale, and the growth rate is 10.8 percentage points higher than the national average.
In the next step, Henan will continue to deepen collaborative cooperation with policy-based export credit insurance institutions, focusing on key areas such as the transformation and upgrading of goods trade, the cultivation of new drivers of foreign trade, the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, the international layout of industrial and supply chains, the “Belt and Road” economic and trade cooperation, and the support of small, medium and micro enterprises, and further play the role of export credit insurance to help enterprises prevent overseas risks, explore international markets, and stabilize export orders.
According to the event organizer, in 2026, relevant agencies will focus on promoting work to benefit enterprises in five aspects: continue to expand the coverage of unified insurance policies for small, medium and micro enterprises, and improve inclusive insurance products and credit service systems; focus on the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain, and implement precise support for enterprises in key industries; carry out risk management training on a regular basis; deepen cooperation with the government, banks and foreign-related service institutions, continuously improve the comprehensive service ecosystem for small and micro foreign trade enterprises, and continue to escort enterprises “going global”.

A centralized compensation ceremony for export credit insurance was also held at the event. The person in charge of the compensated company said that the company had previously applied for a small and micro enterprise inclusive policy for free. When overseas buyers defaulted on payment and operations faced financial pressure, the credit insurance agency promptly launched claims services and arranged dedicated personnel to guide the entire process to help companies obtain compensation quickly, effectively alleviating operating pressure.
“This zero-cost policy risk protection has truly become an important support for enterprises to expand into international markets. With the guarantee of credit insurance, we have more confidence and confidence in expanding overseas markets,” the person in charge said.

During the event, special support products and supporting services for small, medium and micro foreign trade enterprises were simultaneously launched. Foreign-related legal service institutions conducted special interpretations focusing on the prevention of foreign-related legal risks. Credit insurance institutions introduced a series of measures to benefit enterprises, typical claims cases and digital service products.
Participating companies also simultaneously watched the main venue activities in Beijing online to learn about the research results of the “2026 China’s Small, Medium and Micro Foreign Trade Enterprises Export Risk Index”, the “Global Check” digital risk control products, and the “Internet Insurance + Digital Ecosystem” inclusive financial innovative service model, etc.
The person in charge of the relevant credit insurance agency stated that the current external environment is complex and changeable, and foreign trade companies are facing increasing operating risks and financing pressures.
Policy financial instruments represented by export credit insurance are becoming an important supporting force in stabilizing foreign trade and promoting opening up.
As inclusive financial services continue to extend to small, medium and micro foreign trade companies, more companies are expected to use the power of policy and finance to enhance their competitiveness in the international market and achieve high-quality development.
